**Procurement Specialist - 6-month max-term contract**
**About the Role**
As a result of our ongoing evolution, a 6-month contract opportunity has opened within our ‘Energy Operations’ Procurement team. This role will be pivotal in leading and supporting procurement activities across our Energy Operations business comprising of several power stations and a program of projects.
You will be working closely with our Maintenance, Engineering and Site leaders, internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to manage procurement requirements and deliver business objectives for these operating assets and projects.
You will be responsible for a range of activities that include planning, sourcing, negotiating and finalising contracts.
Specifically, you will:
- Assist in end-to-end procurement processes including pipeline planning, sourcing, contracting, Supplier Lifecycle Value processes and savings tracking;
- Carryout data analysis to develop and deliver reporting, insights and advice on both internal spend and market intelligence;
- Identify and implement opportunities to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes.

Whilst work beyond 6-months cannot be guaranteed at this time, we will be looking to extend or make the successful incumbent permanent should the opportunity arise.
**About You**
To be successful in the role you’ll possess demonstrated experience in direct and indirect procurement including sourcing and tender processes.
- Demonstrated procurement tender process experience in direct and indirect procurement
- Strong systems, analytical and Excel skills
- Experience working with procurement software such S4Hana and Ariba - desirable but not essential
- A natural problem solver, commercially savvy, highly organised and cable of managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which enable you to confidently engage, influence and negotiate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
