Procurement Specialist

Pace are partnered with an established and respected market leader to find a temporary Procurement Specialist.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement of supplies, equipment, and services in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Evaluate supplier proposals, tender, negotiate contracts, and oversee supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products/services.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as clinical operations and finance, to identify and meet the procurement needs of the organization.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels of supplies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
**In order to be considered for this role you will need**:
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest and availability to work and commit to a 3 month contract
