Our team of highly skilled employees liaises directly with customers and assists them with the selection, configuration, transport and installation of their chosen laser machine. As a company we pride ourselves on being there for our customers for the life of their machine. For this reason, we offer ongoing support following the installation of their chosen laser machine, including regular maintenance and intermittent upgrades to enhance functionality and productivity.

Koenig Machinery Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced, reliable and knowledgeable Maintenance and

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Inspect and test all laser machinery prior to shipment and installation to ensure proper quality and machine functionality;
- Develop and implement a schedule for the maintenance and monitoring of machinery;
- Prepare and present Gannt charts for each stage of machine maintenance and for the installation of new machinery;
- Liaise with past and present customers to schedule planned maintenance and machinery shutdowns;
- Liaise and manage customers where unforeseen circumstances have resulted in the temporary breakdown of machinery;
- Liaise with customers for the installation of new equipment/upgrades to enhance productivity within manufacturing lines;
- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance procedures carried out on machinery and equipment both in the warehouse and offsite;
- Manage and oversee a team of Service Technicians to ensure that they are following company protocols with the installation and maintenance of machinery;
- Troubleshoot and problem solve where issues arise with machinery and/or customers;
- Demonstrate and explain machinery in the showroom to potential customers;
- Manage service bookings, machine installation and machine maintenance in the calendar; and
- Assist with document and instruction writing.

**To be considered for this role, you will have**:

- Minimum 3 years+ of experience with the installation of manufacturing equipment;
- Minimum 3 years+ of experience with planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance and upgrades on manufacturing machinery;
- Minimum 3 years + of management experience and leading a team of service technicians
- Minimum 1-2 years of ITC network experience and/or installation experience;
- Good basic knowledge of CAD design;
- Good basic electrical knowledge;
- Experience with using, operating or managing the use of a fibre laser cutter or industrial C02 laser cutter would be highly regarded but is not essentially as further onsite training will be provided;
- Experience with optical fiber cabling and/or splicing would also be highly regarded but is not essential;
- Strong IT skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office products and experience in the use of

Gantt charts;
- Some experience in software such as Solidworks, Artcam, Fusion 360, Lightburn, adobe illustrator will be highly regarded;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Excellent organisation, problem solving and time management skills;
- Motivated ‘can-do’ attitude; and
- Mechanically minded.

**Job details**:
This position is based out of our warehouse in Gisborne in regional Victoria, however travel to our headquarters in Melbourne will be regularly required. Intermittent travel throughout Australia will also be required from time-to time in order to coordinate and oversee maintenance procedures in our customers’ premises.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
