Sitecore Technical Lead

We are hiring for a **Sitecore Technical Lead **, who will be responsible for solution architecture, technical design and leadership in GHD’s use of Sitecore.

Collaborating with software development teams and marketing teams you will provide technical leadership and drive evolution of the GHD platform to best use Sitecore XP, Sitecore Content Hub, Sitecore Search and related technologies to achieve positive business outcomes.

**This position can be based at any of our GHD offices across Australia.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Solution architecture in the Sitecore platform and supporting services.
- Estimation of new features, matching business requirements to high quality technical solutions
- Work with our internal product owner and collaborators on feature requests, issue investigation and effort estimations.
- Technical contribution to Sitecore releases as a software developer and the team authority for Sitecore environment
- Investigation and resolution of difficult platform issues, bugs and collaborating closely with Sitecore support or professional services to ensure platform uptime and solution quality.
- Ensure the quality delivery of feature releases, bug fixes and software updates into the Sitecore environment.
- Mentor other software developers working with Sitecore to strengthen the team capability and increase knowledge of the platform.
- Continually improve software development practices and processes to accelerate the delivery of value to GHD.

**Skills and Competencies**
- Sitecore development skill to a senior level, advanced C# software development skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps, solution monitoring & troubleshooting
- In-depth knowledge of test automation, software development, integration, and test methodologies.
- Have excellent technical and non-technical written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised, attention to detail, self-managing, a proactive teammate
- High curiosity with an agile learning attitude

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
- 10+ years proven experience in C# software development with a strong focus on Sitecore and experience using DevOps tools
- In-depth knowledge of software development practices and DevOps practices
- Experience with agile software development
- Experience with Sitecore led cloud would be highly regarded
