**About the role**

The Principal Exploration Contracts will work with the Exploration & Geology (E&G) Management team to effectively ensure compliance with all exploration contracts. This position plays a governance role in terms of contract management ensuring contracts support the delivering of programs on time and within budget.
- Ensure that all exploration programmes are being executed within the constraints of the agreed contracts in place
- Ensure that a regular cadence of audits and compliance checks to maintain the integrity of contract execution
- Represent E&G as the primary liaison between MinRes and Contract partners
- Develop strong working relationship with all Project Services Leadership to ensure no misalignment between contract objectives
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data metrics related to the Exploration contracts

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- Tertiary Qualification: preferably commercial and/or technical related to Mining & Exploration environments
- Experience in a similar role in a strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management or commercial team, managing large projects or teams effectively to deliver commercial & regulatory outcomes
- High level of personal drive & resilience
- Exploration drilling experience across a multitude of drill styles (RC, Diamond, Waterbore, Sonic etc) is desirable
