**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to collaborate with the business and provide specialist advice on injury management including PIAWE payment. This will include coaching and information sharing, ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements, to build knowledge and people skills of managers.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and prepare RTW plans for injured workers
- Manage the worker’s compensation process
- Work through early triage to ensure quicker turnaround and injured workers are supported faster
- Deal with non-work related injuries
- Work with managers to ensure workers recover at work in the first instance on a case-by-case basis
- Attend case reviews with the nominated Workers Compensation insurance provider
- Review PIAWE related and supporting information to determine accurate PIAWE calculation for claims under review
- Liaise with current and former claims agents to facilitate timely remediation payments, track payment referrals and record payment volume and incidence
- Hold / Working towards a formal qualification
- Experienced in Workers Compensation and RTW
- A broad range of experience in workers compensation claims management, including experience calculating and reviewing PIAWE
- Valid NSW drivers licence
- Communication and coaching skills will be vital in the successful engagement of leaders and employees and will be instrumental to the consultation process required to improve safety outcomes.
