**Your new company**

Your new company is part of NSW Government, looking for a specialist in Injury Management & Workers compensation to manager their Injury management team of 4 on an initial contract of 4 months.

**Your new role**

In your new role you will be responsible for:

- Oversee and lead the injury management case management processes and workers compensation claims of the wider team for volunteers and staff including maintaining a small caseload, to ensure claims are managed to best practice standards, in accordance with the Workers Compensation Act and associated legislation.
- Provide a range of complex analysis, documentation, advice, coaching and training, process development and review, while considering a diverse range of viewpoints, to help inform decision making associated with capacity for role, workers compensation claims, disputes and investigations
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of an effective workers compensation and welfare records system in accordance with the Privacy & Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Health Records and Information Privacy Act (HRIP), and associated legislation.
- Establish a continuous improvement program on injury management processes, including clinical governance and audits, the analysis of workers compensation trends, issues and key risks and integration of modern, innovative better practice into strategic health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Embed a purpose-driven culture and effective people management practices to drive member engagement and service delivery to the community

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to succeed you will ideally:

- An Advanced Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent expertise.
- Return to Work Coordinator accreditation in accordance with SIRA requirements.
- A current driver licence and ability to travel.
- Significant experience managing Injury management professionals
