**About the role**

Reporting to the Technical Delivery Manager, the Principal Technical Specialist will play a technical lead role in the implementation of the Endpoint Protection Platform and/or the Vulnerability Management Security Solutions, within the Cyber Security Program. These roles will provide technical implementation skills, and analysis and expert advice of the Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and Vulnerability Management Services (VMS).

**Duties will include**:

- Spearhead the design and implementation of Endpoint Protection and Vulnerability Management systems
- Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and team collaboration
- Ensure optimal performance of security solutions through maintenance and proactive improvements
- Offer expert guidance on current and future security needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute technical security strategies
- Support ICT changes, minimizing disruption while maximizing security

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams to enhance overall cybersecurity measures.

1. Expertise in Endpoint Security and Vulnerability Management

- Deep understanding of architectures, technologies, and industry best practices

- Proficiency in managing antivirus, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions

- Knowledge of next-gen antivirus tools for advanced threat prevention

2. Broad IT Infrastructure Experience

- Active Directory

- Windows 10 and server environments (Windows, Unix, Linux)

- Virtual infrastructure and cloud services

- Enterprise-level endpoint and vulnerability management products

3. Vulnerability Assessment Skills

- Mastery of assessment tools and scanners

- Familiarity with CVE databases

- Ability to prioritize remediation based on scan results

4. Network Security Proficiency

- Understanding of network architecture and security protocols

- Experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms

5. Large-Scale ICT Solution Deployment

- Proven track record in complex, federated, and geographically dispersed environments
