**The Role**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Creating and implementing a retail strategy in line with brand and profit strategies including core ranging and promotional programs
- Effectively manage and maintain the pricing and profitability associated with each customer, which includes managing promotional discounts and advertising spend.
- Managing stock forecasts to support core ranging and promotional programs.
- Working with the Marketing and Grocery team in a collaborative and productive manner
- Employ a customer-centric approach, ensuring clarity, simplicity and effectiveness of communication in line with brand personality and objectives.
- Ensure fulfilment team is dispatching orders within agreed timelines
- Work with logistics and sales operations to ensure product availability and provide detailed product level demand forecasts.
- Manage the day to day administration tasks both internally and externally in timely and effective manner and update Business Manager as required
**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated experience as a National Account Manager
- Extensive sales background in Grocery
- Previous experience managing Grocery store customers
- Team player with excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Adapts to change and demonstrates flexibility
- Have the composure, organisational skills and the drive to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to analyse and interpret sales and financial data
- Highly organised, can multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail with a high accuracy level
- Experienced in Word, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Have initiative and a can do attitude, along with the ability to quickly develop new skills and a passion for sales.
