Proston State School is located in the South Burnett area, 280km north-west of Brisbane. Proston State School caters for students from Kindy to Year 10 with current enrolment numbers at 115.
About the Role
As the Principal your responsibilities will include, but are not limited, to the following:
Lead the school community in developing and committing to a shared vision focused on quality learning outcomes for all students.
Uphold values-based, ethical and moral leadership.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Form partnerships with parents, agencies, community groups and stakeholders.
Be future-oriented and strategic.
Understand policies and legislation impacting the school.
Manage department resources to achieve goals.
