About the Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivery of the following key tasks:
Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Deputise for the Principal when required.
Uphold the deputy principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
About You
Expert Knowledge in Australian Curriculum V9
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead the implementation of Australian Curriculum V9, driving systems and outcomes that lead to improved student learning.
Leadership in Professional Development
Proven experience in leading professional development programs aimed at enhancing pedagogical practices aligned with both student needs and the Australian Curriculum V9.
Team Leadership to Support Student Engagement
Expertise in guiding and motivating teams to foster student engagement and promote a positive, growth-oriented learning environment.
Knowledge of School Systems
Strong understanding and practical experience with school systems, including tools such as One School and timetabling, to support operational efficiency and educational delivery.
Creating a Safe and Supportive Environment
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain a school environment where all students and staff feel safe, supported, and empowered to perform at their best. This includes fostering inclusive practices, supporting well-being, and maintaining a culture of respect.
