Content Producer

Mamamia's Content Producer (Entertainment) is a pop culture obsessive who is neck-deep in everything entertainment. From reality TV to local and international celebrity news, your role will be to pitch and report on original stories, interview celebrities both on and off camera and produce written and social content true to the Mamamia tone, for our highly engaged audiences.

Reporting to the Managing Editor, you will be confident on-camera representing Mamamia in social videos, TV guest spots and industry events. This is a full time role based in our Sydney office.

**About the role**
- Pitch, write and publish content across Mamamia's website and social channels including: Attending daily conference meetings to pitch content. Research, conduct interviews and build strong relationships with key contacts to generate a steady flow of quality stories for the site, podcasts & social channels.
- Film and edit vertical video to appear in social feeds
- Foster media contacts in the Entertainment space, and attend industry events to deliver original stories for our highly engaged audience.
- Recap TV shows, movies and books in Mamamia tone.
- Write, commission and source quality content to appear across the network
- Load posts, source and select relevant images, video and podcast content and related links
- Optimise content for SE nce and success producing TikToks/ Reels to tell stories
- Contribute to the commercial side of the business
- Pitch and create Mamamia Subscription content to grow our audience of Mamamia subscribers.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in Journalism, Media & Communications (or similar)
- Proven experience and success producing TikToks/ Reels to tell stories
- Confident to pitch Entertainment stories or social ideas
- Has experience in optimising stories for SEO
- Has experience posting to Facebook, Instagram and TikTok business pages
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure
- Self motivated and enthusiastic team player
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail and time management skills
