Sydney, Australia Total Earth Care Full time

You will be assisting the day to day management, direction and supervision of a multi-disciplined team of labourer's, landscapers, plant operators and sub-contractors. This position will have you working alongside a team to ensure that construction work is completed to a high standard and in line with contract specifications as well as in accordance with contract specifications to achieve desired results within budgetary and time limits under the Divisional Head's directions, liaising with clients and company peers. You will ensure the company’s tools, vehicles and facilities are allocated and utilised for the respective work sites under your control and are maintained to the highest standards.

Essential:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Landscaping, Carpentry and/or Construction
- Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience
- White card & Trade qualification
- Experience and confidence working with power and hand tools
- Experience working around heavy machinery
- Good knowledge of WH&S
- Current drivers licence (Manual)
- Computer literacy, competency with MS Office on PC, Tablet and smartphone platforms

Desirable:

- Current First Aid Certificate
- Degree/Diploma in environmental/construction related discipline
- Machinery tickets
- Chainsaw License

Consider a project carried out by the Environmental Rehabilitation and Construction team: their job often is to reconstruct a creek and surrounding drainage which has been heavily degraded by previous human impact. The team provides a stable alternative, mimicking the natural surroundings as reasonably practical, planting native flora indigenous to that community. Improving water quality for any aquatic organisms and overall reducing long-term erosion and sedimentation, a key threatening process to numerous native aquatic flora and fauna species.

**Salary**: $76,215.54 - $89,000.00 per year
