**About the role**:

- Helping defence families engage with their communities and manage the military way of life
- Organising events and activities to support defence families
- Developing strong community links between the wide community, defence families and the defence force
- Administration and support tasks
- Responding to administration and support enquiries, and updating records accordingly
- Stakeholder engagement - internal and external
- Data collection to assist with the preparation of reports, submissions and other correspondence

**About you**:

- You will ideally have experience working with defence or veterans previously
- You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
- You will have strong administration skills including accurate data entry, and high attention to detail
- You will have sound time management and organisational skills
- You will have the flexibility to work on occasions of an evening or weekend, to meet the needs of the role
- You will have the ability to undertake intermittent travel as required

**Benefits**:

- ASAP start date (pending Federal Police Clearance)
- 18 month temporary assignment
- Part time hours - 15 to 20 per week
- Rockingham, WA location
- $40 to $45 per hour + super
