Role and Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining our quality management system to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality control procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and updating quality assurance protocols, standards, and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Performing thorough product testing and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Investigating customer complaints and internal quality issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing preventive measures to mitigate quality-related risks.

Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Officer in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify quality issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
  • Professional certifications such as HACCP, ISO 9001, or SQF will be highly advantageous.
