**The Role**
Reporting to the Director, the Executive Manager - Relationship Support Services is a key leadership position responsible for the operations and performance of the Relationship Support Services (RSS) unit.
The Relationship Support Services Unit (RSS) provides both outreach and office-based programs which support individuals, families and children. The programs are committed to delivering effective, respectful and inclusive services across metropolitan Adelaide as well as regional South Australia including Murray Bridge and the Murray Lands, Mt Gambier and the Limestone Coast.

**What you need to bring**
**Essential**
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field
- Strategic leadership experience
- Understanding of counselling programs such as Employer assistance programs, Family Dispute resolution and Mediation
- demonstrated ability to effectively lead large cross-functional teams
- A Well-developed people management approach
- An understanding and working knowledge of Human Resources practises
- Ability to manage and implement change
- Strong operational management skills
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to work operationally
- Extensive experience in initiating, planning and implementing projects in complex environments
- Proven experience in developing and managing multiple budgets
- Experience in development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Demonstrated success relating to tender writing and grant submissions
- Experience in sourcing new business opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and consultative skills
- Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check. (previously known as 'Child-Related Employment Screening Clearance')
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
- Ability to do some work outside of standard hours and to travel between sites when required
- Ability to participate in the out-of-hours on-call roster
**Desirable**
- Experience using Penelope electronic client management system
- Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in leadership and management (highly desirable)
- Management experience in a not-for-profit setting
- Membership with a relevant professional association (e.g. Australian Counselling Association or Australian Association of Social Workers)
