**About the role**:
**Duties**:
**To be successful in this role you will be required to (not limited to)**:

- Work collaboratively with others to ensure accountability and delivery of Permissioning decisions within statutory timeframes.
- Model positive behaviours and support colleagues in their work.
- Support the Permissioning Unit to implement EPA’s Permissioning framework.

**Skills and experience**:
**Here are the types of experience, qualifications, and qualities we are looking for**:

- Holds a relevant tertiary degree, postgraduate qualification, or equivalent relevant experience within a science, environment background, or related fields. (desirable).
- Broad understanding of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and regulations (desirable).
- Experience and ability to be an influential and effective team member.
- Ability to use your critical thinking skills and experience to determine the best solution for a problem or complex situation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
