**C&K Logan Reserve Community Kindergarten** was opened in 2012. We are located within the grounds of Logan Reserve State School and have established very close partnerships with the families, staff and children of the school. Our location enables us to have regular visits to the school grounds including the Prep rooms, the Library, the oval and the Nature Space which helps us to create a program that emphasises the importance of positive transitions to school.

We run an indoor-outdoor play-based program, which makes the most of our beautiful buildings and natural spaces, and provide the flexibility for all children to create, wonder, learn, problem-solve and communicate in their own time and space.

**You will be working as a Director Teacher for Fixed Term Part Time until the end of the year with a possibility of extension, every Thursday & Friday alt. Wednesday (37.5 hours per fortnight).**

**Joining our Family**

You will be a self-starter, love your community and possess a creative vision. Must be committed to continuous improvement, through a collaborative approach with colleagues, community, families, and children. Previous Director Teacher experience is desirable but not essential. An approachable leader amongst your community of families, children, and employees; with a hands-on approach to managing the service operationally.

**You will need to hold**
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification).
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
- Paid Blue Card or Exemption Card
- A Police Check current within 3 months or willing to obtain one

All C&K employees are required to undergo background checks which include a police check and, as a condition of employment, all employees are required to have 1st and 2nd COVID Vaccinations.
