Over the last 5 years, Penny for Pound has established itself as a leader in the Melbourne wholesale bakery scene.

We are excited to announce that we are expanding and relocating our original Richmond store. We are looking for passionate hospitality professionals to join our growing team.

**The opportunity**

We are currently seeking a Cafe Manager to run the day to day operations at our brand new Cafe in Richmond. The venue is positioned in a prime location on Bridge Road with stunning frontage. Predominantly a take away venue with a small amount of seating for dine in customers.

**Key facets of the role**:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the business
- Training & development of junior team members, with assistance from your Retail Operations Manager
- Responsible for managing shifts and leading your team to deliver high-quality service to guests
- Managing opening & closing procedures
- Ensuring all business requirements are set

**What skills and knowledge do I need?**
- Proven experience running a cafe service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- History of developing staff
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience with speciality coffee is preferable for the role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $57,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
