The opportunity

We are looking for a Venue Manager for our Hochi Mama Richmond venue. As Venue Manager, you’ll lead a passionate team, ensuring the seamless operation of our venue. You'll be at the helm of maintaining exceptional standards, driving profitability, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and upholding the Hochi Mama brand.

Key responsibilities
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture
- Implement and oversee policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance
- Monitor and analyse venue performance, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Manage budgets and financial reporting for the venue
- Lead, train, and develop the venue's team of hospitality professionals
- Collaborate with the wider Mamas Dining Group team to drive strategic initiatives
- Manage day-to-day operations and staffing to deliver exceptional customer service
- Manage guest feedback and resolve issues to enhance the guest experience.

What we're looking for
- 2+ years Venue Management
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting
- Strong understanding of liquor licensing, food safety, and other relevant regulations
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences
