We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our business at a pivotal time of growth. Reporting to the Companion Animal Marketing Lead ANZ, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement marketing plans in line with global/local brand and portfolio strategy to achieve strategic and financial objectives for the Sure Petcare portfolio. The Brand Manager is also responsible for working with the broader marketing, technical, key account, and sales teams to ensure effective implementation of plans.
**What You Will Do**
**Responsibilities include, however not limited to**:
- Set and achieve portfolio sales and financial targets.
- Manage portfolio advertising and promotional expense budget including management of purchase orders and invoicing for product portfolio.
- Drive portfolio penetration of identification (microchips) and connected monitoring devices to create intelligence and value-added services to pet owners and stakeholders.
- Develop product/range marketing plans and work with cross functional team to implement.
- Define and lead strategies and tactics to achieve brand objectives.
- Work with Brand Managers across the Companion Animal Business Unit to develop and implement portfolio offerings such as value-add subscriptions and product bundles.
- Develop and coordinate local launches of new products, lifecycle projects and app releases.
- Define customer and prospect profiles (consumer, retail and veterinary).
- Define customer journeys by product and customer profile.
- Create local marketing materials for all key audiences, aligned with identified customer journeys.
- Manage the development and implementation of D2C digital marketing strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with internal (technical, key account and sales teams) and external (agency partners) stakeholders to effectively implement brand strategy and tactical plans, then monitor effectiveness through ROI and KPI measurement for continual improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and competitor activity to develop winning value propositions, product positioning and messaging.
- Leverage market research as a tool to understand customer and consumer insights that guide strategic decision making.
- Actively seek relationships to further portfolio e.g. our company’s AH Australia, Regional and Global Brand teams.
- Act as a brand expert and be available to customer facing roles.
- Manage all aspects of marketing material approval and distribution for product portfolio in line with company processes and systems including and corporate CRM system.
- Ensure all business activity complies with relevant Acts, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
**What You Must Have**
- Marketing degree or equivalent tertiary qualifications in business related discipline essential.
- Prior years consumer marketing experience.
- Strong hands-on digital marketing skills and experience in delivering successful multi-channel D2C marketing campaigns across a range of digital channels.
- Project management skills to initiate and complete multiple projects simultaneously as required.
- Excellent communicator and coordinator across all organisational levels and functions.
- Hands-on and collaborative work style.
- Strong numeracy, analytical, thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with initiative who works well with mínimal supervision.
- Able to analyse data and approach problem solving in a logical manner.
- Able to evaluate and report key metrics and campaign performance to the team.
- Able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
