Commercial Associate- Procurement

**How will I help?**

We are part of Group Procurement whose purpose is to provide end-to-end procurement support and expertise to our business partners and stakeholders across the Group. With the objective to optimise value from supplier relationships and deliver ‘fit for purpose’ solutions that are in line with our risk appetite and support a simpler, stronger bank.

Our Professional Services & BPO External Labour Service Desk Team provides support to hiring managers seeking to engage external labour. As a Commercial Associate you will be responsible for supporting all divisions in sourcing external labour with the right skills, from the right partners whilst managing costs.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Support and advise hiring managers from across the business
- Negotiate contractual and commercial terms with suppliers, including through competitive bidding process
- Develop expertise to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in external labour sourcing
- Facilitate effective data capture and reporting on external labour usage across the group
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Ensure contracts are fit for purpose and executed on time.

**What do I need?**
- Procurement experience
- Familiarity or exposure to contracts
- Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and strong problem solving skills
- Commercial acumen/ Financial sector experience (ideal)
