The Workforce Strategy and Talent Growth Lead, Change and Transformation, plays a critical role in ensuring that the Health Infrastructure Division can deliver upon a complex and exciting organisational change that will directly and positively impact the lives of Victorians by enabling the delivery of over $20b worth of health infrastructure across the state.
Reporting to the Executive Program Director, Change and Transformation (Josef Oduwo), the Workforce Strategy and Talent Growth Lead will partner with the division's executives and departmental stakeholders to collaboratively set the Health Infrastructure Division up to deliver on this expanded pipeline through attracting the right people into the right position, at the right time. This role will ultimately look at all things ‘people' - strategic workforce planning, enhancing the employee experience and employee value proposition, and developing a sustainable talent strategy that ensures we are attracting and retaining our talent, and recruiting for our future growth needs, desired culture, succession planning, and career progression pathways.

Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end project management and delivery of a range of portfolio projects ranging in size, scope, and scale.
- Act as the key interface between project working groups, executives, corporate services partners, and the central project team regarding project deliverables and progress.
- Ensure the delivery of projects or programs aligns with the Department's service delivery and benefit requirements.
- Lead and guide team members in facilitating the resolution of complex and contentious challenges relating to project issues and interfaces.
- Develop trusted working relationships within the Department and with internal delivery partners to enable collaboration and influence.
- Provide authoritative advice on the Department's project governance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate project assurance activities to ensure broader network risks are mitigated while also supporting efficient and effective project development and delivery.
- Track risk parameters, identify any deviations, and promptly report them, as per the established risk management systems.
- Acts as a champion and agent for change, ensuring all business changes are well considered, carefully planned, and effectively implemented
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services
