Instructional Designer

**The Instructional Designer is responsible for**:

- Owning and driving the design, development, update and evaluation of a full product training course curriculum and its associated learning materials. This includes video tutorials, user guides, scripts and interactive eLearning.
- Authoring supplemental learning materials such as presentations, quick reference guides and facilitator guides.
- Continually review and improve our training catalogue of existing tools, templates and collateral.
- Develop questionnaires, assessments and knowledge checks and use this data to measure the effectiveness of training delivered and that learning objectives are met.
- Creating a world class resource centre to make it easy for our customers to access on-demand help 24/7.
- Educating our end users on what our software offers and how they can maximise their usage and value from it.
- Provide ad-hoc training services, and work with client needs and deliver training sessions with customised agendas to support our Customer Success teams.
- Support our Product Teams to develop in-app guidance for end users to maximise the use of the platform and deliver new features.
- Collaborate with our Customer Support Team to understand areas of end user knowledge that can be improved through training, with a common goal of lowering support cases.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Previous or current experience within the Real Estate industry
- 3+ years prior experience within a hands-on training, learning or instructional design role.
- Expertise in the life cycle of instructional design, eLearning best practices and Learning Management Systems.
- Experience in service delivery such as training or consulting within a SaaS environment.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver presentations explaining complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
- Experience hosting and facilitating remote training sessions and webinars using online meeting tools such as Zoom.
- Keen eye for visual design and a high attention to detail, experience with developing presentations and training content and collateral (both video and written).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Energy and passion for providing the best customer service - going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to bring confidence and energy when training customers and achieve a high level of engagement.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to influence an audience, lead discussions and engage with stakeholders.
- Experience with Community management and engagement platforms would also be beneficial.
