Full time temporary administrative role based in the Hobart CBD within the Government’s Health Sector
**Your new company**
Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Health Sector, the largest department of all Tasmanian Government agencies. Their responsibilities regarding hospitals, ambulances, public housing, community health, and related areas including limited involvement in primary healthcare.
**Your new role**
Due to internal restructuring, you will provide administrative assistance to a busy team for a two-month period. Your core duties will be providing general support to the office and will include duties such as:
- Provide business support to meet customer requirements
- Performing information and document management tasks
- Organising meetings and travel
- Minute taking and committee support
- Mail management and distribution (both hard copy and online)
- Undertaking administrative, accounts and procurement tasks
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful, you will be an experienced Admin Assistant with a proven record of supporting a busy team. You will:
- Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have outstanding attention to detail
- Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Have a high level of initiative
- Be able to prioritise competing demands and work well under pressure
- Previous public sector experience desirable
- A current police check (done within the last six months)
**What you'll get in return**
You will receive an attractive casual hourly rate and work during standard business hours, Monday to Friday, completing a 38-hour standard week. You will get the opportunity to work semi-autonomously in a small team.
