The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our team and drive our online store to greater success on a 12-month parental leave contract.
As the Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for the profitability of our online store and carry the following responsibilities:
- Full P&L management of the website and Online store
- Driving sales and profitability of the Online store
- Reporting and analysis of all main KPI’s to maximise profitability.
- Ensuring the merchandising, promotions and product availability effectively drive sales and conversion.
- Lead enhancement projects for Ecommerce and fulfilment to maximise efficiency.
- Manage the website pages to ensure best practice UX
- Oversee the Digital marketing strategy to ensure effective ROAS
- Manage the relationship with external Digital agencies to ensure most effective SEO, CRO & SEM plans and tactics
- Manage Online order fulfilment to constantly refine costs and delivery lead times
- Drive the company’s Omni channel strategy and ensure effective, timely and to budget roll out of all functionalities.
- Be the main advocate and expert for the website and online store to the franchisees ensuring buy in across the network to developments and enhancements.
- Manage relationship with any 3rd party providers such as courier companies, freight companies or logistics.
- Manage the Customer Service team to ensure NPS and Satisfaction score targets are achieved.
- Manage the relationship & costs of the outsourced CS partner
- Manage the George St website team to ensure costs are kept within budget and forecast
- Ensure product feeds are optimised and that product metadata used is as rich as possible leading to a great user experience on site
- Ensure product availability is maximised including quick uploading of Pre-Order titles/products
- Lead enhancement projects for Ecommerce and fulfilment to maximise efficiency,
- Grow product options on the Online store, particularly gift and book related gift products
**Skills and Experiences**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a similar role
- Strong communication skills, aligned with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Strong financial and numeracy skills
- Good working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Demonstrated ability in supplier and 3rd party negotiations and management
- Describe the most successful Ecommerce team you managed and worked with.
- Outline the Ecommerce projects you have managed or led from end-to-end. What was required to deliver the project successfully?
