**The Role**
We are currently looking for an Authorised Representative Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for leading & influencing a team of Authorised Representatives (AR’s) to ensure profitable growth through our face-to-face distribution channel.
To be successful in this role you will have a General Insurance background and have proven experience in managing people & strategic partnerships.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Lead, influence and inspire distribution teams to deliver a high-performance culture, including consistent focus and approach to strategically managing alliances & partnerships
- Lead motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional customer service through coaching, mentoring and development activities
- Establish a continuous improvement focus and drive actions on culture
- Refine IAG’s F2F AR model to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the AR distribution network
- Collaborate with appropriate IAG stakeholders to ensure the successful development and implementation of distribution, sales and retention strategies for AR’s and end-customers
- Ensure and facilitate multi-level executive and management engagement between IAG and AR’s
- Oversee and implement business development and distribution strategies to deliver required business objectives and revenue targets
- Ensure all aspects of IAG’s service proposition is delivered to ARs to enable them to meet and exceed client expectations through collaboration with internal IAG stakeholders
- Optimise distribution process and practice across the AR network
- Deliver profit, expense, and revenue accountabilities in accordance with budgets and longer-term strategic outcomes
**Skills & Experience**
- 10+ years general insurance and/or financial services experience
- Broad and diverse experience in managing and leading sales and distribution teams
- In-depth knowledge of complex sales and performance metrics within the
- insurance sector
- Ability to engage and influence AR’s
- Tertiary qualified in related field and/or suitable ANZIIF qualification
- Ability to build and maintained customer & Partner relationships
- Financial Acumen & Commercially minded
