**Mission**

To keep the books up to date timingly and accurately. To support Tax specialist for monthly Activity Statements, Fringe Benefit Tax and Income Tax Returns. To support Finance Manager in cashflow forecasts and other reports.

**Main responsibilities**
- Accounting of all payables and receivables;
- Reconciling bank accounts;
- Keep fixed assets register up to date and allocate monthly depreciation expenses;
- With the support of Finance Manager, performing periodic journal entries;
- Supporting Tax Consultant with the preparation of IAS/BAS, FBT and ITR;
- Dealing with Australian Agencies in case of inspections;
- Providing support to HR department in case of need;
- Operating Company ERP on a daily basis in order to have books updated;
- Providing support to Project’s Team for preparation of monthly claim submission;
- Allocate each revenue and expense to the proper “Cost Center”;
- Booking monthly accruals;
- Verification of supporting documents such as receipt of materials, timesheets, etc;
- Keep JV partner updated with monthly reports.

**Main Hard Skills**
- Knowledge of Australian and International accounting principles (IFRS);
- At least 5 years previous experience in bookkeeping, with preference of construction companies;
- Knowledge of Finance and Accounting standard procedures;
- Attention to details and accuracy;
- Knowledge of SAP is mandatory; Xero is a plus;
- Knowledge of Italian language is a plus.

- Company is based in South Melbourne;
- Full time work from Monday to Friday;
