**Position: Bookkeeper**As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial transactions within our office. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will contribute to our overall success.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including posting to general ledgers
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly financial close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies or issues
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles, laws, and regulations
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software like Zero and Myob and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (preferred)
