**The Role**:
This is a standalone Bookkeeper role that will work closely with the MD and the external accounting firm. Using Xero, your main duties will include:

- Managing the day-to-day accounting transactions
- Liaising with the external Accountant
- Reconciliation, preparation and lodgement of monthly or quarterly business activity statements (BAS)
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Managing the accounts payable function including the processing of invoices due for payment
- Managing the accounts receivable function including the allocation of payments
- Credit control of overdue payments
- Processing monthly payroll for 8 staff and other related payroll tasks

**Your Background**:
To be considered for this Bookkeeper role you will have:

- Experience using Xero is a pre-requisite
- Experience working in a similar autonomous Bookkeeper position with the majority of the aforementioned tasks
- Ideally, you will have experience in the logistics industry (or related)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Those with experience in a similar role, for example working as a Company Accountant, are welcome to apply
- Able to commute to South West Sydney (10-minute walk from the nearest station. Parking also on site)
