Crucial to achieving these outcomes, the Regulatory Affairs team advocate for regulatory changes that provide an affordable, reliable and cleaner energy future.

**About the Role**

As the Energy Regulation Manager, you act as an internal advisor and an external advocate on a wide range of regulatory changes and reviews specifically focusing on EnergyAustralia’s wholesale energy business.

In this exciting role, you will enjoy a mix of operational and strategic responsibilities, having a real impact on shaping the energy industry of the future. In addition, you will
- Influence outcomes by advocating EnergyAustralia’s position on regulatory matters
- Maintain effective relationships with internal teams, regulators and other industry stakeholders
- Identify and communicate the impacts, risks and opportunities of regulatory matters
- Support the wholesale energy team involved in implementing any regulatory changes

**What We’re Looking For**

To be successful in this role you will have a strong understanding of energy policy and regulation within Australia, ideally gained from experience working with wholesale gas and electricity markets.

You will be a concise and effective communicator with a strong capability to influence across a range of audiences. Building and managing strategic relationships with regulators, generators, network companies, and other industry stakeholders, will come naturally to you. Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities will allow you to deliver desired regulatory outcomes for EnergyAustralia.
