Let’s start with what this role isn’t. This role isn’t about filling shifts - our wonderful Roster Support team do that
In the Roster Development team, you’ll partner with disability services managers in your client group, finance, and HR to create and maintain base (master) rosters. Great rostering balances the delivery of client services, available funding, and staff needs and preferences. It’s like a giant puzzle and you love putting all the pieces together to see how they fit.
You’ll work closely with HR on roster reviews and consultation, and Talent to identify roster lines people want to work. You’ll learn our rostering system Skedulo and support the business to understand the system and improve rostering practice.
Knowledge of the suburbs of Northern Sydney and the Northern Beaches will really help as this role supports homes in these areas. You don’t need to live there as we support work from home arrangements. We catch up as a team in Allambie Heights and Mt Druitt every so often, so you’ll need to be willing to meet us there when we connect.
Ready for success?
**To be successful in this role**:
Experience working with rosters or scheduling and allocating staff or resources through a rostering or scheduling system.
Experience developing base (master) rosters would support success but can be developed. You will need a good understanding of how master rosters work.
Experience in a service-based industry, particularly disability services, aged care or community services is a huge advantage. Bonus points if you have a working knowledge of SCHADS
A knowledge of the Northern suburbs of Sydney and the Northern Beaches will help significantly.
Great relationship building skills and a strong customer service focus.
The ability to translate numbers and dollars into a roster human people would want to work.
The ability to solve logic puzzles - rostering is really putting all the pieces together
**What can we offer you?**
Flexible hours as the role is part-time, 32 hours a week, which can be worked over 4 or 5 days. Work from home arrangements are available.
