Job Responsibilities:

- Perform data profiling and data masking activities in Oracle, MS SQL Server (on-premises and cloud) and potentially other database technologies
- Monitor and optimize the toolset performance of the profiling and masking processes
- Liaise with DBAs to execute database performance tests to simulate the load of different data profiling and data masking activities on the different database technologies used in Bupa
- Follow established change management procedures
- Ability to effectively and pro-actively communicate, co-operate, and collaborate across the Data Office
- Build effective working relationships with internal resources, external resources, and technology vendors
- Proactive ownership of incidents and issues through to resolution
- Log and track identified system problems through to resolution
- Experience in the profiling of unstructured datasets would be advantageous
- Assist in the evaluation and selection process of an appropriate data masking technology and tool
- Leverage the data virtualization features of the data masking tool where appropriate
- Daily data profiling and data masking configuration and administration responsibilities
- Act as primary contact for the configuration and use of the data masking platform
- Platform administration
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot data profiling and data masking workflows
- Monitor the masking platform environment stability

**Salary**: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
