**About the role**

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking Trades Assistants to join our General Construction Branch based at Tomago. The Newcastle General Construction Branch is the local branch covering the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, Maitland and Great lakes local areas. This branch covers the small to large Civil Construction operators and businesses by providing field service coverage and a workshop located at the WesTrac head office in Tomago. Within this role you will work alongside our experienced team to ensure a high quality of output and a safe working environment.

**Essential Criteria**
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in the Construction and Mining Industry.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
- Able to work competently unsupervised.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Forklift Licence desirable

**Roster and Remuneration**
- Monday-Friday (Day shift ONLY)
- 5D2O - 05:30 am - 16:00 pm
- Hourly rates starting from: $32.94+
- Overtime rates starting from: $49.41+
