**About the role**

We are currently seeking Trades Assistants for our General Workshop here at Tomago. Working in our rebuilds section, this role will see you working alongside experienced Plant Mechanics, Boilermakers, and Auto Electricians to ensure a high quality of output and a safe working environment.

With a Cat Certified Rebuild, we aim to recover the performance and productivity of the original machine which will see you managing parts, dissembling, cleaning, and inspecting the latest CAT equipment. This role serves as a great entry point into our business.

**Essential Criteria**
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in the Construction and Mining Industry.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- A dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
- Able to work competently unsupervised.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Valid Drivers Licence and HRW Forklift Licence.

**Rosters - Multiple roster options are available**

**Option 1: Monday - Friday (rotating days/nights)**
- Monday - Friday (50-Hour week + rotating days/nights)
- Roster Pattern: 5D2O x2 5N2O x2
- Day shift: 06:00-16:30 & Night shift: 18:00-02:30
- Hourly rate FROM $37.53 + OT FROM $56.30

**Option 2**:Lifestyle Roster - WORKING ONLY HALF THE YEAR**
- Complete your nights in 1 swing, every 3 weeks
- Roster Pattern: 5D4O 5N4O - work 15 days out of 28
- Day shift: 0600-1830 & Night shift: 1800-0630 (12.5 HR shifts)
- Hourly rate FROM $37.53 + OT FROM $56.30
