**WHAT WE DO**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Our Corporate HSEQ Team supports the business in the development and implementation of risk management systems, practices and assurance programs. Within this department we have an opportunity for a Quality & Systems Specialist.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

This position will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Ampcontrol’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems. You will provide support in the maintenance of existing certifications where applicable and the facilitation of new certifications as required.

This role is also responsible for the design, management and implementation of the internal auditing program in accordance with Ampcontrol’s varied certifications across IMS, Ex and NATA domains, and others as they arise.

As part of a friendly and professional team, your role will specifically involve:

- Development, management and reporting of annual internal audit program and tools inclusive of auditor training, coaching and competencies
- Support integrated management system ongoing continual improvement activities, including the development and refinement of polices, standards and practices in accordance with legislative and national standard requirements
- Provide technical expertise and support to Ampcontrol’s site based HSEQ Advisors
- Support, mentor and coach managers, supervisors and leading hands across the business to better understand quality systems and tools

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

To undertake and succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a range of essential skills and behaviours.
- Technical trade qualification (or higher) in relevant field
- Auditing and reporting
- Implementation of certified quality systems, with a sound understanding of core principles, process and assurance programs
- Ability to manage external certification audits
- Project management
- Recent experience in manufacturing or engineering-based industry, with exposure to certification schemes, ISO 9001 management system maintenance, investigations and risk management
