Based at either our head office in Melbourne, this contract role would suit a motivated professional looking to continue or start their career within the booming renewable energy industry. We are ideally looking for people who will be open to future projects with Vestas. The team is well-established, and your success will be other Document Controllers working on concurrent projects, and the management team.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as first point of contact for all stakeholders regarding any Document Control matters
- Ensure document control processes and procedures are aligned with Vestas policy and ISO9000
- Process all the incoming and outgoing document submissions in a timely manner
- Set up Master Document List (MDL) Items as placeholders in DMS
- Control, monitor, record and accurately distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to obtain document review comment status and resolve issues
- Identifies procedural and format inaccuracies within documents.
- Supports the creation of the Manufacturing Data Record (MDR), which includes all the commissioning ITPs, redline mark ups, as built drawings, suppliers reports etc.. for delivery to the client at the end of a project.
- Perform audit checks on deliverable documents to ensure all the documents are align with the contract requirement.
- Assist in preparing the project closeout documentation

**Qualifications**
- Technical qualifications preferred although not required

**Competencies**
- Demonstrated experience in Aconex or other cloudbased document management systems
- Understanding of commercial/industrial construction techniques
- Ability to deal with a variety of day-to-day document control issues and the ability to escalate issues when needed
- Self-driven and proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to analyse processes and performance and drive improvement
- Highly motivated with an ability to accomplish goals without supervision and work well within a team.
- Act as first focal point of contact for all Stakeholders regarding any Document Control matters
- Experience in construction of Wind farms, infrastructure environment highly valued.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Relationship building, both internal and external
