**A Day in the Life
**Looking to accelerate your sales career? An exciting Territory Manager role for an individual with a high degree of commercial acumen and the ability to drive your own success, grow market share, and achieve sales revenues. The role is based in the Barwon region and will report to the Regional Sales Manager.
Primary responsibilities are:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed objectives while maintaining a professional image for Medtronic in the marketplace
- Support theatre cases and provide training and education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff on our products - product updates, trials, and in-services.
- Provide regular, meaningful, and concise reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Gather market intelligence by observation, discussion, or research.
- Identify, establish, and maintain productive working relationships with key customers.
- Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained
- Recognize and understand competitive products, features, and strengths in relation to the company’s products
- Actively seek to develop and expand on territory management and selling skills including use of CRM and other platforms required to effectively complete your role Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders
**Must Have**
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven sales experience with a successful track record. Selling into hospitals in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry would be preferential but not essential if you can demonstrate your transferable skills. A current driver’s license and your own transport is required
