A Day in the Life
Our newly rebranded Acute Care & Monitoring business, formally Patient Monitoring and Respiratory Interventions, works together with the global healthcare community to solve clinically meaningful problems, with technologies and solutions for blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise and perioperative complications.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Australia Acute Care and Monitoring sales team to be ideally based in the Eastern Suburbs. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share to key Anaesthesiology departments and clinical staff principally within the Central East and Eastern Suburbs of Victoria. As a Territory Manager reporting into the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will:
- Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets- Be responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders.- Be responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.- Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.- Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities.- Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Must Have:
- Bachelors degree required- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and working knowledge of health care industry.
Good to Have:
- Relevant experience selling Monitoring and Anaesthetic products into OT, ICU PICU & NICU areas of care and relationships with Anaesthetist’s, Biomeds and Critical Care nurses will be highly regarded.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders.- Sales experience in healthcare with clinical background highly regarded.- Strong problem-solving skills and persistence to follow through.- Highly organised with good time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities- Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results and who can work autonomously
