**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Opening the Store**:

- Arrive on time to open the store and prepare it for daily operations.
- Ensure all equipment, lights, and systems are functioning correctly.
- Set up the checkout area, check registers, and prepare for customer transactions.
- **Customer Service & Checkout**:

- Operate the checkout counters, process customer transactions, and handle cash or card payments accurately.
- Provide a friendly and helpful experience to customers, answering questions about products or promotions.
- Assist with bagging groceries and ensuring a smooth checkout process.
- **Shelving & Stock Management**:

- Restock shelves and aisles, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and displayed neatly.
- Monitor product inventory, rotating stock as needed, and notifying the manager of any low-stock items.
- Assist in receiving deliveries and replenishing shelves efficiently.
- **Store Cleaning & Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and the stockroom.
- Sweep, mop, and clean the store regularly, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Empty trash bins and perform other basic cleaning duties as required.
- **Closing the Store**:

- Ensure all transactions are completed and cash drawers are balanced at the end of the day.
- Clean and organize the store for the following day, securing all equipment and closing systems properly.
- Lock the store securely at closing time.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in retail, grocery, or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic math skills for handling money and transactions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move stock, with moderate physical activity required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $24.31 - $34.63 per hour
