**Technical Sales Council/Water Quality Representative**
**The Role**

Civilmart are currently seeking a Technical Sales Council/Water Quality Representative to join our amazing team in Staplyton.

The technical Sales Council/Water Quality Representative plays a fundamental role in the continual growth of our business and is responsible for the sales at our Quarry Road site. The role will involve servicing Councils in Qld and Northern NSW by building strong relationships with new and existing customers. The role is required to provide a high level of customer service, accurate business information whilst following company management procedures and directives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver technical expertise and support to sales team in Qld and Northern NSW.
- Support sales to achieve revenue targets/ budgets for Water Quality portfolio.
- Engage in technical reviews and discussions with clients providing support to sales teams.
- Support sales team to deliver Water Quality projects providing technical assistance and managing existing orders.
- Work with sales managing planning new business activities and attraction of new customer interest within the region.
- Identify opportunities to attract new customers.
- Prepare quotations.
- Support manufacturing objectives to meet sales targets.
- Liaise with internal team to manage manufacturing status updates.
- Seek engineered designs for purpose.
- Maintain full and accurate records including meeting minutes, tenders, quotes, proposals, and contract agreements.
- Prepare reports to sales manager with sales/ technical review activities and pipeline updates on determined timeframes.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained and delivered at all times, consistent with profitable operations.
- Work with new and existing customers(design consultants, local councils and authorities) on solution selling through product specification.
- Develop and maintain contacts with business and industry people and groups that have links to company activities.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Must have previous experience in a sales role
- Previous experience working in a civil and construction industry is preferable but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of civil engineering
- High technical aptitude
- Strong ability to analyse and search for solutions
- Ability to develop in-depth knowledge about products and markets
- Excellent ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work activities
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Determination and the drive to work towards targets
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
