**Who are we looking for?**

We are seeking a Supervising Scientific/Technical Officer (Simulation Learning) to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

The Supervising Scientific/Technical Officer (Simulation learning) is responsible for managing a small, agile team and coordinating the provision of specialist technical expertise to support the delivery of clinical simulation education to the Nursing and Paramedicine disciplines in the Faculty of Health.

**About the area**

Technical services is a highly professional team providing specialist technical expertise to support teaching and research across all schools within the Faculty of Health. The team are also responsible for the effective, safe and sustainable operation of a range of teaching and research facilities and specialist equipment across both campuses.

**What you need to succeed**
- Completion of a degree or a higher degree with at least four years’ subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in a clinical operations role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Nursing and/or Paramedicine disciplines along with high and low fidelity clinical simulation equipment.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills (including written and verbal) and flexibility to work across projects and to collaborate and develop effective relationships with multiple programs and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to nurture and lead a high-performing, collaborative team committed to continuous improvement and which actively works to understand and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Demonstrated problem identification and resolution skills, including ability to implement desired outcomes to timely completion in a complex environment with competing demands.
- Demonstrated ability to support delivery of projects within agreed timeframes and resource constraints (including assistance with scoping, planning, delivery and post-implementation review).
- Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety and environment principles and commitment to compliance and safety at both strategic and operational levels.
