This is an excellent opportunity to join a client-focused NDIS provider who services the Perth Southeastern suburbs. Currently seeking the expertise of an NDIS Client Engagement Officer to assist in building relationships with key stakeholders such as Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, and their families to onboard new NDIS participants.

With a wealth of industry experience, this organisation are incredibly passionate about providing the best care possible to each participant. With a key focus on ensuring that their services are tailored to assist each individual and align with their personal goals.

Reporting to the Services Manager, this is a client-facing role and your duties will include:

- Building and maintaining relationships with participants, their families, external providers and internal stakeholders
- Building relationships with potential participants to establish rapport
- Ensure a smooth onboarding of new participants
- Assist participants to maximize the benefits of their package/plan in an acceptable timeframe and within allocated funding
- Engaging directly with participants and their representatives to confirm their housing needs and manage their transition into accommodation
- Implement care plans in line with NDIS and participant needs
- Facilitate ongoing support to our NDIS participants by exceptional customer experience, engagement, and support in the achievement of their goals

Key Requirements:

- Qualification in Disability, Social/Community Work, or Nursing
- Demonstrated understanding of NDIS Policy and related reforms
- Previous experience in onboarding new NDIS clients
- Disability sector experience with specific experience in relationship management, and management of workflow will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the community services sector and existing community networks/ providers within the Perth South Metro, Perth East Metro and Central South Metro region is desirable
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Children Check
- NDIS Workers clearance
- National Police Check
