You have spent years in aged care, disability, or community services. You have built networks, gained trust, and become the go-to person when people need answers, and empathy.

And now, we are inviting a relationship-driven professional to join us as our Client & Community Engagement Officer – a role that blends heart with strategy, and presence with impact.

You will be the first friendly face or reassuring voice that potential clients and families encounter. You will represent PHG in the community, build trust with partners and professionals, and share the stories and feedback that help shape our services.

It is about driving growth by being genuine, available, and values aligned.

What You will Champion

Client & Family Engagement

- Respond to enquiries with warmth and insight
- Guide families through HCP, NDIS, or private service options
- Build rapport that leads to active service relationships

Community Outreach & Representation

- Be our face at local expos, forums, and community events
- Host or support in-house information sessions and open days
- Bring our HEART values to life through every interaction

Partnership Development

- Develop strong referral networks with GPs, coordinators, hospitals & more
- Explore co-hosting, cross-referrals, and joint outreach opportunities
- Maintain regular, value-based contact with key stakeholders

Storytelling & Strategy Feedback

- Capture testimonials and insights to inform service delivery
- Bring back community intelligence to help shape our future direction
- Work closely with intake and care coordination teams
- Contribute ideas that improve how we show up in the world

Is this you?

- You are a seasoned community, health, or care professional ready to reconnect with your why
- You are proactive, empathetic, and love meaningful conversation
- You enjoy being out and about, engaging with all walks of life
- You value balance and are looking for a flexible, part-time role (20–30 hrs/week)
- You are confident presenting, liaising, and building networks, and you bring heart to every handshake

What you need

- Experience in community engagement, client liaison, or stakeholder development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working across cultural and linguistic backgrounds
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally
- NDIS Worker Screening / WWCC, Police Clearance
- Familiarity with aged care or disability services a bonus – but not essential if you are eager to learn
