**Your new role**
We are seeking an NDIS Accreditation Officer to join the team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Head of QHSE, this role is responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient management of all NDIS accreditation, supporting the collation of accreditation data and reporting requirements, ensuring that our client continues to comply with accreditation standards and processes.
A typical day in the role may look like
- Conducting compliance reviews and internal audits Identifying and implementing strategies on how to improve internal controls and processes
- Supporting and driving the implementation and embedding of audit recommendations to ensure accuracy and appropriate control management
- Ensuring improvements are aligned to applicable legislation, regulations, accreditation standards and best practice
- Developing awareness, through training, information sessions, coaching and mentorship to key staff on a variety of quality and compliance related topics, and provision and advice to staff regarding quality requirements
- Contributing to the preparation, planning and facilitation of NDIS external audit cycle including supporting understanding of the quality requirements and external audit process.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience in the disability or aged care sector
- Strong communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution/negotiation skills
- Understanding of legislation, NDIS requirements, policy and compliance issues
- Ability to conduct research, interpret and understand regulatory requirements
- Ability to plan, conduct internal audits, manage projects, set priorities and meet deadlines and
- Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards.
