We are currently seeking an experienced **_Proposals Manager _**to join the Industrial and Resources Team based in Brisbane. As the Proposals Manager you will drive a consistent and disciplined approach to all tenders and submissions. Reporting to the Strategy & Pre-Contracts Manager you will take responsibility for tender submission progress according to schedule, clearly articulating UGL strengths to our clients along with the UGL solution. Other responsibilities include;
- Ensure all pre-contract and tendering activities are completed in accordance with UGL governance guidelines
- Provide regular reports and recommendations on the progress of tenders and proposals
- Manage the response development and submission of EOI’s, pre-qualifications, and low complexity RFT’s
- Develop, implement, and ensure ongoing management of a Bid Library
- Participate and contribute to the development of annual business planning
- Actively promote UGL’s ‘One HSE’ Culture

You will work with diverse teams and be responsible for creating an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another

**Ideally you will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications, ideally in Business, Marketing or Project Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role in Power Generation, Resources, Utilities, Construction, Rail, Heavy Industry, or any other safety critical environment
- Strong skills across the MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated successful track record in tendering, coupled with the ability to write customer focused and tailored proposals
- A strong commercial acumen with at least a basic understanding of contractual issues
- Solid communication skills with the ability to establish clear lines of control and delegation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and to effectively prioritise demands
- Customer focus, team oriented, accountable and results driven
