We are looking for an experience HR Generalist to join our client, a nationally recognised construction company located in Brisbane.

**Responsibilities**:
Within the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for the delivery of HR-shared services and people-related projects.

This role will provide the opportunity to blend your abilities and enjoy role diversity, including:

- Managing the end-to-end process of the monthly payroll function (outsourced to Micropay).
- Maintain HR systems ensuring employee information is accurate and confidentially retained.
- Prepare all necessary compliance lodgments and HR reporting.
- Provide timely support and advice for recruitment, on-boarding, inductions, off-boarding, HR policy/procedures, employees surveys.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support initiatives to increase employee engagement and retention.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a similar HR role
- Degree-level qualification in Human Resources or equivalent discipline (preferred not essential)
- Basic understanding of employment law, modern awards and applicable industrial legislation
- Strong administrative skills and high levels of attention to detail
- Strong ability to initiate, build and maintain strong and effective relationships and partnerships with all levels of stakeholders
- Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
