**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 3-month contract paying up to $34.50/hour + Super. This role is located in Parramatta/ WFH

**About the team**

The team are a group of young and enthusiastic individuals who are striving to not only deliver outstanding work to help the residents of NSW but also evolve their careers whilst doing so. A newly created team to help with the implementation of new technologies across this NSW Government Agency.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Service Desk Officer with a leading NSW Government agency. The Service Desk Office will be responsible for providing level 1 support and advice to end users across NSW. Supporting the delivery of the Shared Services Team to promote a customer centric approach

Key accountabilities include:

- Assisting Clients with enquiries related to HR and Payroll Functions
- Provide service support and advice in response to inquiries, and requests about shared services, products and services by clarifying issues; resolving inquiries and requests in line with standards.
- Logging incidents and following up on ticket to resolve customer queries

**About You**
- Experience in Processing of HR or Finance transactions
- Experience providing support to customers over the phone
- High level of customer service skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
