The Social Media and Digital Content Officer role offers an outstanding career opportunity for a professional who is passionate about using their expertise and creativity to support VIT in its regulation of Victorian teachers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- With a thorough understanding of the role social media plays in a broader digital ecosystem, combined with a highly organised approach, the role will support and enhance VITs communication with its stakeholders and reaffirm its brand identity.**About the role**
Salary range: $87,259-$99,004 plus statutory super.
- Be part of a forward-thinking, risk-based regulator where ideas and opinions are valued. This role will require you to- build VITs social media strategy and grow its presence
- develop the social media content calendar, build on storytelling and drive narrative content
- monitor and moderate platforms for channel growth and implement strategies to improve engagement
- scan for media mentions and discussions about VIT, stakeholders and the community
- develop social media reporting to inform leadership of activity and growth, and analyse insights to form data-driven content
- create, proof and share digital content across VIT external and internal platforms that help deliver on key business goals
- support the team in a cross-functional and collaborative approach to ensure the delivery of branch activities
- explore new ways to engage with and learn from stakeholders.
**About you**
- demonstrated ability to build and grow strong online communities through various social media platforms
- strong knowledge of content development and creation, and experience in developing reports to generate social media insights
- passion to learn and stay on top of emerging technologies and trends in the development of social media
- experience working with content publishing and scheduling tools (Marketing Cloud)
