**Your new role**

As Social Media and Digital Officer you’ll be responsible for the use of social media platforms and digital channels across the organisation. The role will be responsible for maintaining a rolling content schedule in line with the Social Media Policy, brand guidelines, campaigns and budget. You will be required to develop highly engaging, unique and informative content that effectively promotes and supports Council's range of activities, services, initiatives, advocacy and events.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience in Journalism, Marketing or similar field.
- Demonstrated experience in the management, planning and development of content (written and visual) for social media channels.
- Demonstrated experience in the governance and analytics for social media channels.
- Demonstrated experience working on various social media platforms including META Business Suite and scheduling platforms such as Sprout and reporting platforms such as Brolly.
- Demonstrated understanding of working with various audiences and an ability to craft messages to reach diverse groups of people.
